Effective immediately, individuals all across Canada no longer have to pay tax (GST/HST) for counselling therapy/psychotherapy services.
Bill-C59, The Fall Economic Statement Implementation Act that includes making psychotherapy and counselling service HST exempt received Royal Assent on June 20, 2024.
