What Individual Therapy With Me Looks Like
Collaborative, reflective, and grounded support tailored to your experience.
In our sessions, we focus on what matters most to you. Therapy may include exploring patterns in thoughts, feelings, and relationships, reflecting on past experiences that shape present challenges, and identifying practical strategies to manage anxiety, overthinking, or life transitions. Sessions are conversational and paced according to your comfort, giving you space to notice what’s working, what isn’t, and where you want change.
How I Support Adults in Individual Therapy
Common areas of focus include patterns that keep you feeling stuck, uncertain, or overwhelmed.
I work with adults who are functioning well outwardly but want support with:
- Anxiety, overthinking, and mental loops
- Relationship uncertainty and patterns in connections with others
- Career and life transitions, purpose, and decision-making
- Self-doubt, low confidence, and trusting yourself
- Grief, loss, and identity shifts
Even if your concern isn’t listed here, therapy can help you explore what’s happening beneath the surface and develop strategies to manage it more effectively.
My Approach to Individual Therapy
Insight-oriented, practical, and grounded in your goals.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices, including psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and art therapy, tailoring each session to your needs. Together, we’ll:
- Notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships
- Explore where challenges come from and how they affect your present
- Build strategies to respond to anxiety, overthinking, or stress
- Develop confidence in decision-making and self-trust
Sessions are collaborative, reflective, and practical. You’ll leave with insights and tools you can use in your daily life.

How to Begin Individual Therapy
What to expect from your first conversation through ongoing sessions..
We begin with a free 15-minute Inquiry Call via secure video. This is an opportunity to briefly connect, discuss your questions, and explore whether my approach and services feel like a good fit. There’s no pressure — just a straightforward conversation to help you make an informed decision.
Your first full session is an Intake Session, where we explore what brings you to therapy, clarify your goals, and review relevant background information. This helps shape a personalized direction for our work.
In ongoing Individual Therapy sessions, we focus on your current concerns while building insight, identifying patterns, and developing practical strategies to support change over time.
