How I Work

Warm, practical, and down-to-earth

Sessions are conversational and reflective. We talk things through with care and attention. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you slow things down enough to notice what’s really happening underneath your thoughts and reactions.

You don’t need to have perfect insight or the “right” words. We work things out together.

Therapy with me is active and intentional.

We look at the patterns that keep repeating - in your thinking, your emotional responses, your relationships, and your decision-making. We explore how those patterns developed and why they make sense, even if they’re no longer serving you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Art Therapist  with over 20 years of clinical experience.

My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from different therapeutic modalities and adapt our work based on your needs, goals, and level of comfort. There is no single formula - therapy is shaped around what will be most useful and meaningful for you.

I work from a strength-based, person-centred perspective. We pay attention not only to what feels difficult or stuck, but also to your capacities, values, and internal resources.

When helpful, sessions may include both verbal and creative processes. The intention is always the same: to create a space where you feel comfortable, safe, heard, and understood - and where insight can lead to practical, lasting change.
