I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Art Therapist with over 20 years of experience. My approach is informed by formal training, clinical experience, and continued professional development. I adhere to the standards and guidelines set by my regulatory college and professional associations.
Licensure and Professional Registration
Registered with regulatory and professional bodies in Ontario and Canada
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), authorized for independent practice (Registration #001327). I am also a Registered Art Therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) (Registration #141-R-11) and the Ontario Art Therapy Association (OATA) (Registration #R23-002).
Additional Certification
Specialized training in anxiety treatment
I hold certification as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) (Certification #805533). This training supports my work with individuals experiencing anxiety and related concerns.
Education and Training
Graduate-level training in art therapy and psychological approaches.
I completed a Master’s level Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. My training includes psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, which explore how early experiences shape current patterns, as well as the integration of art as a form of expression and reflection. I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University.
Professional Experience
Over two decades of clinical and community-based work.
My experience includes working with adults in private practice, as well as roles in community and clinical settings. I have also provided supervision and consultation to art therapists and students, supporting the development of clinical skills and ethical practice.
