Art Therapy (with an Art Therapy Student)
This service is intended for clients who are specifically interested in art therapy as their primary mode of psychotherapy. While sessions may include verbal processing, the foundation of this work is art-based psychotherapy.
Sessions are provided by a Psychotherapy Student who is completing clinical training at a master’s-level art therapy program. This program is recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and meets CRPO’s Entry-to-Practice Competency Requirements for psychotherapy education.
🔔 Please only book this service if you are open to using art materials as a central part of your therapy process.
This is a psychotherapy service, offered at 55% less than the rate of sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Art Therapist. Many clients find working with a student to be a supportive and meaningful experience — students bring current, evidence-informed training, strong ethical grounding, and a collaborative, client-centered approach.
All sessions are supervised by a qualified clinical supervisor who meets CRPO’s standards for supervising psychotherapy students, ensuring that your care is closely supported and aligned with professional best practices.
