Feeling Safe Enough to Be Yourself
You shouldn’t have to hide parts of who you are in therapy
For some Jewish or Israeli clients, having a therapist who understands their background can make a difference.
You might find yourself cautious about sharing parts of your identity or wondering if you’ll need to filter your words.
Whether you identify as Jewish, Israeli, or an ally, you’re welcome here as you are. You don’t need to explain the basics of your culture, traditions, or values. You can talk openly about what’s on your mind, knowing it will be met with respect, curiosity, and care.
About Me
Understanding comes from both training and lived experience
I’m a secular Jew, raised in Toronto, with a strong foundation in Jewish culture, language, and tradition. I’ve visited Israel many times and spent several years living and working on a kibbutz along the Mediterranean coast, not far from where several of my relatives reside to this day. While I’m not fluent enough to conduct therapy sessions in Hebrew, I can engage in casual conversation and feel comfortable with the language.
How Therapy Can Help
Support for anxiety, self-doubt, and everyday stress
Many clients come to me because of anxiety, overthinking, or feeling “on alert” much of the time. Therapy can help you slow down, make sense of what’s happening inside, and build tools to manage the noise that keeps you up at night.
My approach is conversational and practical. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface — unhelpful thought patterns, self-pressure, perfectionism, or emotional exhaustion — and work toward steadier ground.
My Approach
An integrative, grounded way of working
I use an integrative approach, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), along with person-centred, psychodynamic, and attachment-based methods. My style is warm and collaborative — sessions feel more like real conversations than checklists.
Some clients use art therapy as part of the process; others prefer talk-based sessions. Either way, we’ll tailor therapy to what feels most natural and helpful for you.

You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes therapy is simply about creating space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
